Yes, I would like to offer a suggestion for Hartline to consider a program offering a free month bus pass to those who are able to catch the HARTLINE, but do not qualify for the SUNSHINE door-to-door service. If someone qualifies as a low income individual and not receiving monies. If there were a program that offered this type of assistance it would enable them to be able to acquire employment by being able to get to and from job interviews via the HARTLINE. The SUNSHINE program is limited in this area and with the high unemployment in Hillsborough this would aid low income persons to get back on their feet. Just as the other programs assist with payment cards for low income individuals when they obtain a job the funds would immediately cease. I think this would be an excellent program to assist those trying to obtain employment without having to worry about this extra cost. Also, it would be an added launching pad for increased ridership for the HARTLINE since they will already be familiar with the public transportation system.
