The general purpose of this Corporation shall be of a charitable nature; to understand and serve as a not-for-profit free food pantry providing provide food and essential non-food items, temporary financial assistance, and resource counseling to needy people in Pickens County. The business of the Corporation will be conducted under the name CARES (Community Assistance Resources and Emergency Services for Pickens County, Inc.) hereafter referred to "the Corporation" in this document.
