CANHR is dedicated to fighting elder abuse and protecting the rights of California's long term care consumers. Through community education, legislation and litigation, it has been CANHR's goal to remind decision makers of what needs to be done to improve the lives of long term care consumers; that this forgotten population includes our mothers and fathers, our husbands and wives, our brothers and sisters, and that their suffering is our shame.
