The Animal protective League is a "no kill" animal shelter. We are dedicated to caring for sick, injured and stray companion animals. We arrange for medical treatment, find homes for treated animals or provide continuous care as needed. We advocate the control of pet overpopulation by requiring the sterilization of all APL animals and providing assistance to the public through SNAP (spay neuter assistance program). We also advocate effective means for the prevention of cruelty to animals.
